His only flaw was was that he supported Liverpool, whereas, ashe well knew, I supported Manchester United for my sins! An impish talented and delightful young man whom I miss already, and will always remember with warm affection (to quote Robbie Williams). A son to be proud of, Mr. Hume.

Then it was our turn to go in the cage. Our brothers sat on it and poked and tortured us. Then Daz made the biggest mistake of all. He tried to get out. Our brothers then jumped on him and tried to beat him upwhile i sat in the cage and laughed. Of course he did not think it was funny at all and got in a mood. Daz got his own back, as he always did.

Sue Ferguson - Darragh: a friendly, lovable character who brought joy and happiness to everyone who knew him. Sincerely missed.
Wendy Harman - One of my funniest memories of Darragh "being Darragh" was the day I sat at his table in a lesson and he had one of those "squishies" - a thick, flour-filled ballon with a face on - which he kept fiddling with. I asked him not to play with it in the lesson but he insisted that it "felt nice" and began chewing on it. I warned Darragh that it could break into hos mouth and he said not to worry. I had turned back to work with another pupil when I heard Darragh say "Mrs. Harman, can I go to the toilet?" I turned back to him and he was sitting there smirking, covered in white powder from his nose to his knees! What's the main thing about Darragh - he always made me laugh. A lovely, cheerful boy who will be remembered forever and who I feel lucky to have known.
Gloria Pelling - Remembering Darragh with his cheeky smile and his lovelydeep voice. Darragh will be sadly missed by us all.
Chris, Doug and Tara - We first met Darragh when he was seven years old. He was this little boy with a big smile. We remember once, at a barbeque, when he was playing football and jumped with joy because he had scored a goal. In fact he had hit the shed window, but with his cheeky smile and arms and legs in the air, we all laughed Darragh will be missed but not forgotten.
Mrs. Hooker - His charisma is what struck me first about him - and his cheeky smile! I will always remember his deep, edgy voice and how beautiful it sounded in the Christmas harmony with year 7.
Mrs. Sarah Dyett - When I think of Darragh, I can hear his voice, (or should I say voices!) so clearly in my head and it always makes me smile. This year I chuckled many times when I heard his newly deepened voice saying one of his many little phrases, carrying through the thin walls of the classrooms! My recent memories of Darragh are dominated by him in his fabulous gold 'dress' Potipher. He did the dress rehearsal with his socks on too - which really added to the ancient Egyptian look! His sense of humour and fun made such an impression on me and I am so grateful to have known him.
Mr. Stephen Chadwin - Darragh was in a year 4 football club I ran 4 years ago, 'Hoops' (the Celtic strip) - socks, shorts and top. It isn't often that you see that down here, so far from Glasgow; as a fellow Celtic supporter, we had discussions about the team's victories and defeats through the next four years.
Sarah Erratt-Rose - It is so difficult to put on paper my memories of Darragh - for they are numerous. They are so clear in my mind, yet so difficult to explain in words. That smile, that smirk, that sparkle in his eye. That pensive look, staring at the ceiling, sraring out of the window, but usually deep in thought, rarely just "day dreaming". Natural talent, natural ability, a hunger to question and to always learn more. His passion, sometimes firing anger in his heart, yet the passion that urged him to learnto control his temper and share his love with others. His empathy for others, his kindness towards them, his willingness to put others before himself. His ability to joke and take a joke - which means so muchwhen your strugglingwith a hard day's work as a classteacher or are up against the clockputting on a school show! His confidence. His HUGE personality. the list of his qualitiesand my memoties of him seems never ending. Though deeply saddened, I have memories that will always remain with me - and for those I am grateful. With much lovexxx
