Our thoughts are with you  / Caroline And Martin (Never got ot meet him )
We never got to meet Darragh. He was a rapidly growing and very longed for bump inside his mum when we left England. Sorry your time with him was so short.
Our thoughts and condolences are with you Davey and Jan.
All our love

i would like to say thanks to the artists who perform the tracks, the words relate so well to our feelings for daz, especially puff daddy for me,when the girl sings i am gone.As for R Kelly just the first three bars are enough it is so what daz would have said about himself(his friend carrie found the song and made me a copy)After i had stopped bubbling and listened, did i laugh,it was like listening to the boy!So once again thank you both!!!!! My Sunshine Boy  / Jan Adams (mum)
I remember the day that you were born
as if it was yesterday.
It was the best day of my life
and all i could do was pray

A beautiful baby boy, they said
we had already picked your name
Darragh John Hume it was to be
we Knew nobody else would have the same.

Because, you see Darragh
one look at you and we knew
that you were someone special
and nobody would compare to you.

You grew from a baby to a toddler
then to a boy and a beautiful young man
We were all so very proud of you
even though you were an ardent Liverpool fan

We know you would have done so well
Where ever you went you bought joy
why did you have to go so young
you were our special 12 year old boy

Now i cannot find the words to say
because of this pain that cuts so deep
but you are now with nan and grandad
and you are theirs to keep

So be good my darling baby boy
i miss you so very much its true
and if only you knew what i would give right now
to spend one more moment with you.

All my love hugs and kisses forever

'DARRAGH'S ANTHEM'  / Clyde Curtis (Classmate)
He sang like an angel
And laughed like a God
He joked like a jester
And fought like a dog
And even though he has gone forever
We will all endeavour
To never forget him

He had an infectious laugh that made us all giggle
Until we had a pain through our middle
And even though it won't mend the hole
in all of our hearts
In our memory of him we will not falter
To our friend Darragh , the Artful Dodger. Close
unbreakable bonds  / Your Dad (guess)  Read >>
unbreakable bonds  / Your Dad (guess)

i thought we had an unbreakable bond,we had been through things that it was unfair for a young lad to go through, you made a choice and stuck by it.you held your head up and against the odds you prospered.                 you could be a lazy sod, everything you tried you did well with no effort but you made me so proud, whether it was being recommended for uni, captaining the school football team, singing and acting, learning karate,i could go on and on.we were a team,i could see good things for your future.your plans were within touching distance.
my question is this;why did the big man in the sky decide to take my lovely boy and not only break our unbreakable bond but my heart in one move and leave terrorists, rapists and child molesters behind?
i will love and miss you always xxxxx

You are missed so much  / Kaylee Dakin
I often sit and think about,
The years that have gone by
And of the happiness and joy
That was shared by you and i.
I think of the laughter,
The smiles and all the fun
And before i even know it,
My tears have once again begun,
For although it brings me comfort
To wlak down memory lane
It reminds me how without you
Life has never been the same
Love and miss forever and alwayz lil man xxx

I am so sorry  / Sherry Kimbler (Passerby)
I was visiting my son, Nicholas Floriana's website and I came to yours and read it.  I know you all are going crazy with grief over Darragh.  He was so young to have died.  I do hope that everyone is finding a way to handle their grief.  It has been almost 2 years since Nick's death and some days I still have a very hard time.  Not a day goes by that he isn't in my heart and mind.  I wanted to share with you what helps me through my grief.  Anything at all that I can do for my son to keep his memory alive.  We made a Memory Garden for Nick, the website here and I am also working on making a movie from his pictures.  It  is not natural for your child to go before you.   I will keep Darragh and all of you in my prayers. God Bless You All. Close

sorry / Laurie Montalvo (none)
So sorry for your loss. It is a tradgedy when God takes children too soon. I know the pain you feel. I had a baby boy pass away in feb,2005. I hope as time goes by your pain will ease. The hurt will never go away, but just pray to God and he will bless your family.

When a parent dies,
you've lost your past
when your child dies,
you've lost your future.

Deepest Sympathy,

Daz, well what can i say,
He wasn't perfect,
But was in a way,
He made us smile,
DIDN'T make us glum,
He was loved by absolutely everyone,
But it dosn't matter what we say,
We all new him in our own special way.

A beautiful Angel Darragh  / Barb Heacox Ricky Heacox's Mom

 Angel

God Bless you.  What a beautiful angel Darragh!!  I know he is with my Ricky as angels watching over us.  My son Ricky passed away this March 27th 2005, (Easter Sunday) around 3 a.m.  Ricky also had a seizure disorder which was not epilepsy, but a life threatening condition.  He had a very rare pituitary/adrenalin defficiency which he battled with his entire life.  He passed away just 1 1/2 weeks before his 25th birthday due to a car accident.  We don't know yet if he couldn't fight (adrenalin) to get out or move or not.  I was told that it was very quick.  He died of traumatic asphyxia (he couldn't breath).  He was driving with 2 other people in the car in which none of the people had their seatbelts on.  The other 2 people just were treated and released at the hospital.  I don't get it at all.  I am glad that the other 2 people survived, but why my son?  Why did he have to go?  He left an almost 3 year old daughter who now says daddy lives with the angels.  Ricky's whole life since he was 6 months old when he was diagnosed he had to take medication or an injection given by me when he was having an episode or just simply was feeling run down.  It was a constant battle because Ricky had this condition (which he didn't like) and he was trying to be normal.  He didn't want any special treatment at all.  Well his daughter inherited his condition and has had seizures in his arms so he experienced what I went through when he was younger.   I know the pain and helpless feeling you must have had.  I share in your pain now.  You are in my prayers.  Bless you.

Memories of Darragh.  / Alison Power (friend)

Hardly a day went by without my son Alex coming home from school saying "You will never guess what Darragh did today." and then telling me a story of Darraghs's latest escapade like the time the year 7s went to Lodge Hill and Darragh put the butter knife through his hair.  My best memories are of Darragh on a sunday morning playing his heart out for his Thistle Youth Football squad. Darragh running down the side line for all he was worth, eyes blazing trying to get revenge on some poor lad who thought he could get away with taking Darragh out in a tackle, of Darragh scoring and then screaming round the pitch in celebration as if he had scored the winning F A cup goal for Liverpool, and of Darragh's last league match for Thistle when he got red carded ,how proud he was.  Early in september  the boys will once again take their place on the pitch for the start of the new season.  Darragh, while you wont be with us again on a sunday in our memories you are with us forever.

We all miss daza,
Day by day,
And never in our hearts will we forget,
That he laughed, smiled and joked,
Like nobody else could!
---------------------------x--------------------------
We tried to cheer us up,
With a little assembly doo,
Just to remember that we will never forget,
What happened on that unfortunate day.
---------------------------x--------------------------
A couple of things ill like to say,
We miss you loads,
That words cannot describe,
We wish we could have you back,
Here in our school to tell you,
What we feel and that,
your such a great friend.
---------------------------x----------------------------
WE WILL NEVER FORGET AND PRAY THAT THINGS NEVER HAPPENED THAT WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
